 Responsibilities

This role will drive the evolution of Bath & Body Works’ social media and influencer efforts as we work to capitalize on untapped exposure & breakthrough engagement opportunities across the entire organic social media & paid influencer ecosystem. This role will collaborate closely with our agency of record and internal teams to create compelling campaigns that resonate with our target audiences. This leader will be instrumental in leveraging trends, analytics, and creative storytelling to foster authentic connections with our customers, prospective customers, brand superfans and field associates.

 

·         Serve as a change agent:  Drive the evolution of the social & influencer space for Bath & Body Works to connect in a more culturally relevant way that delights & inspires customers, consumers, brand fans and BBW associates alike. 

·         Develop a clear strategic roadmap:  In partnership with our agency, lead the build and development of a comprehensive social media and influencer engagement strategy that contributes to Bath & Body Works’ overall brand objectives and stated goals.

·         Deepen agency partnership and impact:  Collaborate with Razorfish and GinghamOne, or our agencies of record, to ensure we are “connected always” and leverage them for optimum impact.

·         Move at the speed of the always-evolving social space:  Identify & evaluate social media trends and platforms to enhance & amplify brand presence; monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for continued growth and evolution of brand advocacy strategies and tactics

·         Build connections with key business partners:  Foster strong relationships with both internal teams (Brand Strategy, Integrated Marketing & Media, Creative, PR, etc.) and external partners (GinghamOne agency collective, brand collab partners, social / influencer talent, etc.) to drive bold and differentiated campaigns that move our brand forward; contribute to the development of holistic marketing campaigns by bringing forth big ideas & new thinking to help achieve campaign objectives.

·         Lead Influencer and ambassador programs to drive brand credibility:  Together with our agency, identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with key influencers and brand ambassadors who align with Bath & Body Works’ brand values and target demographics. 

·         Accountable for Community Management:  Accountable for social media community management, fostering an engaged and loyal online community through strategic interaction; partner with the Customer Contact Center on service recovery engagement tactics that sync with holistic channel strategies and tone, voice, etc.

·         Content creation:  Leverage internal and external creative resources to create engaging, on-brand, platform-optimized content for social media channels and ensure consistency in approach, messaging, and aesthetics across platforms.

 Qualifications

  • 10+ years of marketing experience with four or more years in the capacity of a leading social media / influencer teams and programs with a brand or agency

  • Highly motivated & experienced leader with proven ability to influence others and champion new ideas across a highly matrixed and data-driven organization

  • Demonstrated ability to influence change and challenge the status quo through purposeful creative questioning and ‘bridge-building’ across all levels of the organization

  • Ability to lead and inspire with unquestionable values, integrity and trust

  • Strong analytical aptitude with the ability to clearly articulate wins, opportunites and performance outcomes to senior leaders

  • Demonstrated ability to establish and utilize cross-functional relationships and collaborate effectively within a complex, matrixed organization

  • Demonstrated success in recognizing, developing and retaining high-performing talent
