We are seeking a highly collaborative individual contributor to join the Formula Data Integrity team. In this role, you will lead, and coordinate activities related to the development, maintenance, and implementation of formulas, fragrance, and raw material changes across Personal Care, OTC Drug, and Candles/Home Fragrance product categories. As a key cross-functional partner, you will help ensure the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of formula data while enabling product innovation, business continuity, and regulatory adherence.
Responsibilities:
- Review, validate, and approve formulas and fragrances entered the formula management system to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established requirements.
- Create and route new raw materials through the cross-functional review process in support of new product development and alternate raw material initiatives.
- Conduct initial compliance reviews for raw materials and formulas and escalate concerns as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and complete formula and raw material documentation within the formula management system.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support new product development, commercialization, and formula change activities while helping ensure project milestones are completed on time and in full.
- Track and follow up on outstanding actions, deliverables, and approvals needed to support project execution.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal partners, Contract Manufacturers, Raw Material Suppliers, and Fragrance Houses.
- Support product lifecycle management activities, including raw material and formula validation, data maintenance, and end-of-life processes for formulas and finished goods.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and strengthen data quality within formula-related systems.
- Support the resolution of formula and raw material compliance issues by coordinating with cross-functional partners.
- Ensure established processes and system requirements are followed by internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist senior team members and leadership with special projects and other business priorities as needed.
Collaboration:
- Actively participate in team, cross-functional, and business meetings to support project execution and stakeholder alignment.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with key internal and external partners, including R&D, Operations, Commercialization, Regulatory, Safety, Procurement, Contract Manufacturers, Raw Material Suppliers, and Fragrance Houses.
Talent Management and Development:
- Create and implement IDP/PPO/Mid-Year/Performance Review/Career Management Profile.
- Complete on-boarding activities and participate in informal mentorship if needed.
- Support AOS effort by actively participating in AOS related activities and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Learn new knowledge and processes and constantly improve professional skills for future growth.
- Actively seek opportunities to use existing processes and collaborate between teams.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with key internal and external partners (e.g. R&D, Operations, Commercialization, Regulatory, PFD, MFE, Safety, Contract Manufacturers, Raw Material Vendors, and Fragrances Houses).
- 0–2 years of experience in the consumer goods industry or a related field.
- Experience supporting product development, raw materials, formulations, data management, quality, regulatory, or related business processes is a plus.
- Experience with raw materials or formulation development for Personal Care products is preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to successfully navigate complex change processes within a dynamic product development environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Experience with SAP or other enterprise data management systems is a plus
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
