Lead product and fragrance development end-to-end for assigned brand/category! Partner with manager and internal/external partners to translate ideas into concepts and concepts into products/fragrances. Collaborate and establish strong business relationships with functional and cross functional partners as well as external partners. Apply findings of product and fragrance development fundamentals. Support trend analysis and understand the customer to stay relevant.
Responsibilities
Product & Fragrance Development
Key Responsibilities:
- Fragrance Development:
- Responsible for fragrance creation and briefing with vendors
- Evaluate samples and provide feedback
- Expand knowledge of fragrance trends and formulas
- Responsible for fragrance creation and briefing with vendors
- Formula & Base Development:
- Assist in testing and reviewing new base formulas
- Partner with R&D to explore innovation
- Assist in testing and reviewing new base formulas
- Project Coordination:
- Track development timelines and approvals
- Organize fragrance samples and libraries
- Ensure smooth communication across teams
- Track development timelines and approvals
- Vendor & System Management:
- Build strong relationships with fragrance houses and manufacturers
- Navigate internal systems (SAP/PLM) to manage workflows
- Build strong relationships with fragrance houses and manufacturers
- Trend & Market Insights:
- Monitor fragrance and beauty trends
- Create inspiration decks for new product ideas
- Support marketing and consumer testing needs
- Monitor fragrance and beauty trends
Qualifications & Experience
- 5-7+ years related experience in fragrance and product development
- Strong communicator
- Able to thrive is a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter and Problem solver
- Attention to Detail & Accuracy
- Able to be proactive and Flexible
- Strong time Management skills
- Strong Computer skills
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
