The Global Procurement Agent plays a crucial role in promoting operational efficiency and facilitating international sales expansion through strategic procurement methods. This role collaborates across different departments with Logic Source (LSI), ODW Logistics, BBW International Visual Merchandising/Marketing, and BBW Marketing Operations to assist our global franchise network. Duties involve overseeing order tracking, inventory reporting, and coordinating shipments to guarantee smooth store openings and product launches. The perfect candidate excels in a dynamic setting, embraces a consumer-centric approach, and finds motivation in teamwork-based issue resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a subject matter expert in procurement processes, ordering systems, and logistics operations.
  • Manage procurement of non-merchandise items for international partner stores.
  • Supervise the timing of incoming and outgoing orders to guarantee prompt delivery and minimize potential risks to store openings and floorset launches.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and central procurement to align on strategies for new business initiatives.
  • Forecast seasonal demand and maintain efficient inventory levels for core non-merchandise items.
  • Review shipping documentation for accuracy and promptly address discrepancies.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of procurement and logistics principles.
  • Outstanding organizational, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Proven ability to contribute insights and collaborate across teams.
  • Skilled in managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Retail experience and project management background preferred.
  • Proficient in Smartsheet, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with Shopify e-commerce platform is a plus.
  • Experience working with franchise partners or third-party vendors is advantageous but not required.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university, or 1–3 years of equivalent professional experience.
