The Financial Analyst on the Merchandise Planning & Allocation team is responsible for supporting executional and analytical responsibilities and owning Promotional Calendar management for the Central Planning team within MP&A!
Responsibilities
- Maintain and optimize the US Promotional Calendar, tracking and understanding business changes and how they affect each team internally
- Partner with BBW Category Teams and Store Operations on in-store digit accuracy
- Review and analyze business trends and promotional performance
- Conduct hindsight analysis to inform future decisions
- Collaborate among Cross Functional partners to support the Business Planning & Actions Weekly Meeting
- Observe and implement process opportunities and continuous improvements
- Set high personal performance standards, demonstrating a sense of urgency and passion for the business, and overcoming obstacles to achieve goals
- 2-4 years analytical & forecasting experience in retail industries
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to meet due dates and balance multiple tasks/projects
- Highly organized and proactive about setting and solving priorities
- Ability to see how a task or decision relates to the total enterprise
- Capability to work with various levels of management throughout the organization
- Strong in Excel and PowerPoint with desire to learn new applications
- Solid understanding of retail math, merchandising and the merchandise planning process
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Retail, or Business-related field preferred
