Description

Responsible for supporting all day-to-day facets (concept to delivery) of highly complex and integrated customer marketing product delivery including creative, business, and technical requirements, product scoping, quality assurance and compliance with established standards, and post-release support. Responsible for designing, developing, and supporting MicroStrategy grids, Dossiers and dashboards based on business requirements provided by the Product Team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to configuring project architecture, developing metrics, attributes, hierarchies, performing user and user group maintenance, monitoring system performance and technical infrastructure and end user and application support responsibilities. Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve Business Intelligence and analytical solutions (Reports, Dossiers, Schema). Ability to envision what customer is looking for and create proof of concepts to satisfy business requirement. Reviews Architecture changes and recommends fixes, improvements, and best practices. Create documentation to support Dossiers, Reports, best practices, commonly occurring customer issues. Participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural and requirement specifications. Work closely with Product Team to enable datasets for self-service analytics for multiple analytical tools like SAS, MicroStrategy and future toolsets. Provide proactive production support for MicroStrategy and other BI/Analytics applications. Including monitoring usage patterns and recommending improvements. Provide L3 support of MicroStrategy to ensure timely completion and availability of reporting. MicroStrategy version 11.3 and should support future upgrades in Linux and Windows environments. Providing technical support and coaching/mentoring to MicroStrategy and Product Team.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or Information Systems plus 5 years experience including 2 years’ experience with Agile and Waterfall Methodologies; 2 years’ experience with Microstrategy; 2 years’ experience with Snowflake; 2 years’ experience with SQL Server; and 2 years’ experience with Unix/Linux. Telecommuting option – employee may live anywhere in the United States.
