Bath and Body Works is seeking a Senior Applications Analyst who will support functional areas within Merchandise Planning and Allocation (MP&A). Focus includes steady state support of current applications and processes, as well as defining requirements, scope and functional design, participating in functional testing, user acceptance testing (UAT) and technology release plans. This role closely partners with peers and leaders in the MP&A technology team, Functional and Technical IT partners, and Business users. Technology solutions in the MP&A space may span across vendor applications, internally developed custom built applications and Excel, SQL or database tools.

Responsibilities

  • Creates and maintains strong partnerships and relationships with both Brand partners and other cross functional technology partners.
  • Demonstrates functional expertise in multiple areas and across multiple applications and/or systems.
  • Serves as the overall Functional Lead on multiple projects or large-scale programs; leads project workstreams including functional design/development activities, cutover planning, performance or User Acceptance Testing and post go live support.
  • Mentors and trains team members on steady state support activities; drives identification and resolution of issues using functional expertise and product knowledge
  • Researches and triages new, uncommon and/or complex problems spanning multiple areas or systems/applications.
  • Applies knowledge of application architecture, industry trends or standard methodologies, to recommend process or existing technology enhancements and/or new technology for the MP&A space.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience

  • 7+ years of proven ability in enterprise applications technology
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; listening and understanding proficiency; strong diagnostics and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrate agility with a high level of detail and accuracy
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills to build strong relationship and influence others
  • Prior Specialty Retail experience, specifically in Merchandising and/or Merchandise Planning and Allocation, is beneficial
  • Experience with agile methodology, and able to manage project deliverables and exercise flexibility when priorities change
  • Ability to articulate detailed action plans and ability to work within designated timelines
  • Ability to confidently lead and present in discovery sessions and other forums
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel; Visio experience beneficial
  • Experience with Relex solution is a plus.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in information technology
