The Non-Planned Closures Specialist manages the flawless execution of store closings/openings in North America. This includes all closures relating to maintenance, natural disasters, safety & government mandates, etc. This role is also responsible for providing exemplary field support while ensuring business processes are actioned with speed, efficiency, and integrity, while leveraging a customer lens.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Set, maintain, and communicate store closure/re-opening processes for all stores in North America, including providing detailed weekly and as-needed reporting to business leaders
  • Manage the Non-Planned Closures Teams Channel, including store closure tracking & cross-functional partner notifications
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure store closures/openings nuances are supported
  • Manage the non-planned closures inbox to provide store teams with issue resolution and address operational questions through verbal and written communication
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners and leadership to identify communication needs for each level of the organization while developing solutions that support efficient and timely re-openings
  • Be an advocate for stores; solicit feedback and drive improvements through strong working relationships with field leaders and cross functional teams
  • Ability to effectively communicate with varying levels of leadership, including Home Office and Field leaders
  • Drive process evolution and reporting to continue to meet the changing needs of the business
  • This role provides support to the larger real estate operations team:
  • Supporting the maintenance program, which includes issue escalation, resolution, and communication for high profile/urgent issues.
  • Special project support for both real estate and maintenance

Qualifications

  • Store Retail Experience (minimum 1-3 years)
  • Microsoft Office (specifically Excel, Teams, Outlook), and Fexa application skills
  • Strong organizational skills, detail, and process oriented; strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt in a fast paced and collaborative team environment
  • Ability to track and react quickly to details from multiple partners daily
  • Ability to work weekends as needed

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree or minimum of 1-3 years equivalent work experience
