Summary

A Logistics Support Specialist is knowledgeable of various product distribution and transportation pipelines and is expected to possess strong communication, organizational, and troubleshooting skills to support Inbound or Outbound Operations in our third-party distribution centers. The role is an Individual contributor position responsible for supporting the day to day operation and coordination for multiple third-party partners, supporting BBW and BBWD, and reporting to the Regional Distribution Center Manager.

The ideal candidate is a motivated, self-starter with outstanding written and verbal skills. Able to manage/present data, effectively work on multiple tasks at the same time, develop and maintain relationships with internal and external contacts and provide direction to 3PL operations.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to develop/maintain relationships with internal and external teams
  • Ability to work independently on self-initiated projects
  • Provide operational support to Analysts and RDCs
  • Ability to generate data/information and communicate direction and multiple priorities
  • Compile and present RDC metrics (daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly)
  • Account for proper documentation to support SOX initiatives, including reporting for carryover, cycle counts, PO issues, and load discrepancies
  • Assist in monitoring of timely inbound and outbound processing
  • Support Non-Merch storage and shipment requests

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience

  • Must have a strong performance history
  • Consistent, timely, professional follow up with Home Office leaders, vendors and 3PL providers
  • Ability to multi-task and handle high pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written skills
  • Ability to collaborate to ensure organizational goals and objectives are met
  • Ability to work with associates at varying levels of responsibility and functional expertise
  • Previous experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), strong computer skills within Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new systems
  • DC Operations experience preferred
  • Must be flexible with work schedule and work location

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Transportation, Logistics, or another relevant business field is highly preferred
