Description
In this role you will lead a specific function in the Formula Data Integrity team. You’ll be responsible for, and lead activities pertaining to new development or change processes related to formulas and raw materials for all personal care products, OTC drug products and candles/home fragrance products. Specific areas of support include but are not limited to new development (commercialized products, pre-development assessments etc.), regular business change management (dual sourcing, alternate raw material process etc.), or compliance related change management (regulation changes, international requirements, IFRA etc.).
Responsibilities:

Responsible and accountable for Organizational Change functions within assigned product categories and/or brands.

Work with cross-functional partners to ensure change achievements are met OT&C (On-Time & Complete).

Build and maintain strong relationships with cross functional partners, Contract Manufacturers and Raw Material Vendors to continuously improve processes and turnaround times.

Understanding of formula and product development processes and systems, interface and capabilities.

Maintain and publish monthly updates to Formula Data Integrity Formula Listing Form to all Contract Manufacturers (CMs).

Engage with CMs to develop upstream approval process for new raw materials being utilized in new development formulas.

Analyze portfolio data and connect with cross functional partners to assess and resolve scope in New Development, Dual Source, or Equivalent Raw Material projects.

Lead status update meetings to track project achievements with cross functional partners and relay any potential delays or disruptions to the project team

Support Manager in leading cross-functional business activities for large complex projects and drive alignment of broad cross functional projects and initiatives.

Support translation of business goals and objectives into action plans that define accountabilities and measure success.

Support life cycle management activities related to data within the formula system. Including but not limited to, raw material and formula validation processes, end of life management for formulas, finished goods, etc.

Analyze all alternate or replacement raw material proposals from Contract Manufacturer’s (CM), Manufacturing Engineering (ME), or R&D and partner with Safety and Regulatory to confirm compliance to BBW’s ingredient policies.

Review of a raw materials created by Formula Data Integrity Specialist to ensure accuracy of data

Conduct regular reviews of current processes and requirements to ensure they meet the needs of the business and cross-functional partners looking for efficiencies and changes when/where necessary.

Drive resolution for any reformulations needed due to raw material or formula non-compliance.

Ensure all processes in and out of the formula and/or finished good system are followed by internal and external partners.

Assist in development of testing plans, scenarios and scripts and participate in user acceptance testing for any new change management system.
Key Meetings:
- Attend weekly sync up with Manager/Supervisor
- Attend monthly sync up with team members, cross-functional partners, and/or leaders
- Attend monthly team meetings
- Attend key business meetings such as Quarterly Briefings
- Attend any additional meetings as necessary
- Actively participate in other relevant meetings as directed
Talent Management and Development:
- Create and implement IDP/PPO/Mid-Year/Performance Review/Career Management Profile.
- Complete on-boarding activities and participate in informal mentorship if needed.
- Support AOS effort by actively participating in AOS related activities and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Learn new knowledge and processes and constantly improve professional skills for future growth.
- Actively seek opportunities to use existing processes and harmonize between teams.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with key internal and external partners (e.g. R&D, Operations, Commercialization, Regulatory, PFD, MFE, Safety, Contract Manufacturers, Raw Material Vendors, and Fragrances Houses).
- 3-5 years of experience in consumer goods industry
- Experience in raw material or formulation development for Personal Care is a plus
- Data analysis and organization skills
- Detail oriented and strong communication skills
- Ability to work in fast paced environment with multiple opposing and constantly evolving priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel and preferably SAP system
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, science or equivalent experience
