The Senior Financial Analyst on the International Accounts Receivable team is responsible for reviewing and executing invoicing to our external franchise partners, as well as building strong relationships and rapport by providing high levels of service. They will also manage collection of payments from partners and work independently as well as with internal teams to resolve issues and provide timely feedback to partners. The Senior Financial Analyst owns the reporting, reconciliation and general ledger activities for International Accounts Receivable and the resulting reporting and analysis. This role requires a background in accounting with the ability to perform financial data analysis.
Responsibilities:
· Main point of contact for franchise partners regarding billing and collections
· Research and resolve issues associated with billing & receivables on a timely basis
· Assist in the monthly and quarterly close cycles, including the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations and internal controls
· Build strong relationships with cross-functional business and external partners
· Clearly articulate and present ideas and explanations to all levels of management
· Identify areas of opportunity/weakness and recommend solutions for achieving optimal efficiency in a controlled environment
· Assist with special projects and departmental goals
· 4-6 years of relevant Accounting and/or Finance experience
· Seasoned analytical, system and accounting skills
· Strong organization and time management skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
· Proven ability to multi-task and work independently; ability to meet all deadlines and handle multiple objectives in a fast-paced environment
· Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and accounting system packages; experience with SAP preferred
Education:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is required, with CPA a plus
