The objective of this role is to track Bath and Body Works International inbound shipments into the shipping consolidator and create allocations and export documentation of shipping to various Franchise Partners. The individual will diligently track expected and actual arrivals of purchase orders into the Distribution center using SAP and Excel documents. This includes monitoring all issues that may delay shipment from the DC to our International Partners. The position will communicate directly with the distribution center, merchandise planning, logistics, customs and pricing teams to ensure item visibility and achievement of process milestones. The allocator will report to the Manager of Inventory Deployment.
Responsibilities
- Create demand in SAP for any future order and partner with Production and Sourcing to ensure timely delivery into the DC
- Weekly update of the BBW open order report.
- Daily communication with the planning team, providing insight to the ocean shipping schedule and to obtain the planning team’s future order volume plan for all International destinations.
- Generate sales orders for all shipments to International Partners.
- Generate export documentation for some air and ocean shipments.
- Produce weekly reports to provide item level shipment information to internal and external partners.
- Generate weekly floorset tracking reports
- Track and communicate pricing issues to internal pricing partners.
- Build and maintain Master Assortment File for International Franchise Partners.
- Track and manage monthly sample shipments for restricted markets as needed
- Collaborate with Franchise partners through effective communication
- Generate reports to support the BBW allocation processes and analysis.
- Monitor and track allocations daily with the distribution center to ensure proper through put
- One-year experience preferred in Logistics / Supply Chain / Operations Management experience
- High level of technical proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Access to analyze large volumes of data
- Curiosity and desire to bring a diverse point of view to the team and organization
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and customer types/levels
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong Collaboration skills
- Strong analytical skills – ability to analyze and understand quantitative data
- Strong excel skills; ability to learn and apply new software technology Systems used: Manugistics, SAP, Microstrategy
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Operations, or Retail Merchandising
