Title: Sr Applications Analyst, PLM 

The role is responsible for end-to-end solution design and support for all initiatives in Product Development application delivery space. This role will be executed through strong technical skills and communication, directly working with a wide variety of business and technical partners. This is an individual contributor role (no direct reports) on a global team.

 Responsibilities:

  • Supports all current SAP PLM, PPM, Recipe Development, EH&S, QM, Document Management (DMS), WWI reports, Fiori UI, PLM functionality and integration with other SAP modules (SD & MM) as well as applications outside of SAP (MP&A Product Hub), and vendor collaboration.
  • Designs, configures, tests, debugs, documents, and collaborates with development teams on both custom and packaged software solutions
  • Be proficient in SAP PLM, configuring system modules, such as areas under specification management, workflow, phrase management, WWI templates
  • Assumes lead role in capturing detailed requirements, completing gap analysis, and solution design for full scope of technology initiatives
  • Provides feasibility assessments, estimates, and architecture aligned with PLM roadmap for proposed initiatives
  • Author functional specs, ensuring that all details of designed solution including integrations, dependencies, configuration, mapping, test cases and business process rules are included
  • Works closely with Enterprise Application Development (EAD), BASIS, Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), Master Data, Supply Chain, Project Management Teams, Testing Center of Excellence (TCOE) and cross functional MGTI team members to support application delivery initiatives
  • Drives issue resolution through research or triage of new, uncommon, or complex, problems spanning multiple systems or applications
  • Participates in on call support rotation, and maintenance activities as needed.
  • Monitors and pro-actively resolves system performance issues and batch job schedules
  • Conduct root cause analysis and suggest improvement measures to ensure system stability
  • Understand business process by working closely with a wide variety of business partners including Packaging, Product development, R&D Formula Development, Sourcing, Operations, Regulatory and Compliance
  • Accountable for delivery of all aspects of test planning and execution, including, data preparation, requirement traceability, environment setup, test scenarios, SOP instruction, defect resolution, and validations ensuring quality product delivery
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing and act as escalation resource for reported issues, defect resolution ensuring business sign off.
  • Act as a change agent by assisting in business training execution
  • Be curious and identify innovative ways to improve technology processes and solutions
  • Utilize knowledge of application architecture, industry trends or best practices to recommend process or technology changes for the applications in the group’s portfolio

Qualifications

  • Required: 7 years of application analysis experience
  • Required: Minimum 5 years large scale project implementation experience
  • Required: Minimum 5 years of Retail and/or Consumer Products experience
  • Required: Strong communication, collaboration and documentation skills
  • Required: Strong ability to understand impacts across a complex multi-system environment
  • Required: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Required: SAP PLM, PPM, Fiori, QM, EH&S system knowledge
  • Preferred: Experience with SAP S/4 HANA Cloud for EHS Workplace Safety, Product Compliance, Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management and/or Private Edition Product Lifecycle Management
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree from accredited four-year university or college; or equivalent combination of coursework and job experience
