The Senior Instructional Designer of Strategic Selling builds, develops, and evaluates learning solutions that supports evolving our customer experience in stores. They’re an advocate for the field organization and collaborates with cross-functional partners to conceptualize, develop, and deliver learning strategies and streamlined resources that get results.

Responsibilities
• In partnership with the Strategic Selling Manager, assess, identify, and implement an evolved selling model that enhances the customer experience. 
• Leverage collaboration skills to partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), field partners, and stakeholders to clearly understand target audience and content needs to construct learning and performance outcomes.
• Create innovative training resources to build, retain, and sustain field knowledge and behaviors related to future selling strategies and initiatives.
• Includes (but not limited to) videos, eLearnings, instructor-led meetings/ conferences, and reference materials.
• Influence and partner to provide a field-led filter to their learning solutions including role specific training for District Sales Leaders, store level leadership and associates.
• Consistently gather feedback to assess gaps, pattern and recommend solutions to get results.
• Leverage project management fundamentals to build detailed and attainable project plans that include tracking, milestones, deliverables, and communication/review cadences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of demonstrated ability in instructional design or creating learning content via different modes of delivery
• Retail background, store selling/operations experience preferred
• Proven success at establishing rapport with business partners at multiple levels, working on larger teams, and collaborative work habits
• Strong organizational skills, detail and process oriented; ability to handle and lead multiple, complex projects
• Demonstrates the ability to identify issues/opportunities and drive alignment and prioritization
• Demonstrates strong communication including listening, probing for understanding and articulating messages in a clear and concise manner
• Microsoft Office, Articulate Storyline and Rise, Adobe Creative Suites application skills
• Travel requirements 20%
